On Aug. 1, about 40 young local Jewish mothers got together at Amazing Glaze in Mount Washington for a “Moms’ Night Out” event. Among the activities were eating, drinking, painting, mingling and learning about Hiddur Mitzvah, the beautification or enhancement of Jewish objects.
The event was hosted by Laurie Rosen and Kim Wynn, who are Community Connectors through the Louise D. and Morton J. Macks Center for Jewish Education.
“It was fabulous to provide a fun activity to give area moms a break from their busy weeks,” said Rosen. Wynn added, “We were thrilled with the excitement for this event and look forward to hosting a regular Moms’ Night Out event, given the popularity of this one!”
