Thousands of canine lovers, pet owners and others came out last Saturday, Oct. 6, for the Baltimore Humane Society’s annual “DogFest” extravaganza.
The six-hour event, held at the BHS’s Reisterstown compound, provided entertainment for man’s (and woman’s) best friend, dog owners, kids and canine lovers of all kinds, with information about pet health care, adoption and rescue opportunities, micro-chipping, a 20-foot climbing wall, contests, vendors and a one-mile trail walk. Proceeds from the gala benefit all of the animals at the BHS’s private, non-profit, no-kill shelter. For information, visit bmorehumane.org.
