JBiz Innovation In Health Care Symposium at Cylburn

A great crowd was on hand Oct. 29 for Jmore's "Innovation In Healthcare" event at Cylburn Arboretum, celebrating Baltimore's health care innovators.

More than 100 health care professionals, entrepreneurs and others came out on Oct. 29 for the JBiz “Innovation In Health Care” gala at the Vollmer Center at Cylburn Arboretum, Jmore’s latest networking event for community, business and professional leaders.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres catered by Santoni’s, followed by a moderated panel discussion led by George Nemphos of Nemphos Braue LLC.

The conversation featured a panel of highly regarded local health care innovators, including Dr. Stacy D. Fisher, cardiologist and associate professor of medicine at the University of Maryland Medical System; Dr. Panagis Galiatsatos, co-founder and co-director of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center’s Medicine for the Greater Good; Dr. Jonathan Thierman, chief medical director and chief medical information officer of LifeBridge Health’s virtual hospital; and Dr. Dee-Dee Shiller, a gynecologist, osteopath and advocate for women’s preventive health.

Sponsors included Nemphos Braue, the University of Maryland Medical Center, Acessa Health and Myriad Genetics, and exhibitors included BurnAlong, Max & Steven’s, Diamond Medical Laboratories, Meals on Wheels and Maryland Relay.
