About The Panelists

Marina Cecchini, M.P.A is an experienced hospital executive with experience in psychiatry, addictions, physical medicine and rehabilitation, home care, and medical-surgical hospitals. In her role as Chief Administrative Officer of the Sheppard Pratt — Baltimore/Washington Campus, she is responsible for overall quality and delivery of patient care, working collaboratively with nursing, clinical, and medical leadership. Her most recent leadership role was as CEO of UF Health Rehab Hospital in central Florida. She is a noted industry leader, having previously served as the board chair of the National Association of Psychiatric Health Systems and the president of the Mental Health Coalition of North Central Florida. She earned her M.P.A. in Health Policy and Management from the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University and a B.S. from Utica College of Syracuse University.

Jennifer Main is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Amalgam. She joined Amalgam Rx from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) where she served as COO, responsible for a wide range of functions, including financial management, information technology, acquisition, human capital, facilities, strategic planning, and enterprise risk management. Prior to that, she held senior executive titles, including that of CFO, in five different public and private organizations over the span of her 25+ year career. She holds a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in history.

Aaron Rapoport, M.D., is the Gary Jobson Professor of Clinical Oncology and Director of the Transplant and Cell Therapy Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center. He has more than 30 years of experience in the care of patients with blood cancers and blood cancer research. He is passionate about high quality and advanced clinical care and in that effort, blessed to work with an outstanding team of nursing and physician colleagues, laboratory professionals and medical support staff.

Dr. Jonathan Thierman is the Chief Medical Information Officer (CMIO) for LifeBridge Health, the Chief Medical Officer for LifeBridge Health Partners, and the President of the Medical Staff for Northwest Hospital. He is leading LifeBridge into the digital medicine era with initiatives including a system telehealth platform and big data analytics, to improve patient throughput, system efficiencies, and the delivery of quality care across the continuum. He also oversees and continues to work on projects related to physician system optimization and engagement. Dr. Thierman holds a Ph.D. in mechanical and biomedical engineering from the Health Sciences and Technology Program at MIT. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins, where he was chair of the Emergency Medicine Informatics Committee. He is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine and continues to practice in the Emergency Departments at LifeBridge.
