Pikesville’s Beth Tfiloh Congregation and School will co-present the event.

Jewish community members are invited to bring chametz to the firehouse to safely burn in large barrels under the supervision of firefighters. PVFC hosts this event as a service to the community to prevent residential fires.

Several community businesses and organizations have made donations in support of the chametz burn: Beth Tfiloh  (dumpster), Marble Designs (burn barrels) and Edrich Lumber (wood).

Founded in 1897, PVFC responded last year to more than 3,700 emergency calls, making it one of the highest volume volunteer fire and emergency medical services provider in Baltimore County.

There is no charge for the chametz burning, but donations are appreciated.
