Nature is the focus of Black Earth Rising, an exhibition that explores how art can be a tool of resistance against social and environmental injustices. The exhibition features paintings, sculpture and films by Black and Native American artists including Firelei Báez, Alejandro Piñero Bello, Teresita Fernández, Sky Hopinka, Tyler Mitchell, Wangechi Mutu, Jaune Quick-to-See Smith, and Yinka Shonibare.
