Retired Real Estate Agent Dianne Yospe Dies at 76

A retired real estate and leasing agent, Dianne Yospe passed away on Wednesday, July 16.

The Pikesville resident was 76.

Born Dianne Barbara Simon, Yospe was a seminar leader for Landmark Education personal development training program (now known as Landmark Worldwide) before working in the real estate field.

“Dianne was an extraordinary human being who dedicated her life to making a difference in the lives of others,” her family wrote on the memorial page of Sol Levinson & Bros. “She worked in real estate sales and leasing in Baltimore, representing properties like Tindeco Wharf, Canton Cove and Harbor View, where she formed close friendships with many Orioles players who came to see her as a second mother.”

Yospe was also a longtime, dedicated member of the local philanthropic group Covenant Guild, which was co-founded in 1947 by her mother, Bernice Herman Simon.

“Dianne had a remarkable ability to connect with people, always checking in on those she loved and offering wise advice to friends, family and even former caregivers, many of whom remained part of her extended family,” her family posted.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eric Yospe; her daughter, Allyson Yospe; her brother-in-law, Jay (Caron) Yospe; her nephew and niece, Ryan (Andrea) Yospe and Kim (Jared) Fischer; her great-nephews, Conner Yospe, Brandon Yospe, Logan Yospe, Drew Fischer and Rory Fischer; and many other family, friends and caregivers.

She was predeceased by her brother, Jan Simon; and parents, Bernice and Julius Simon.

Services will be held on Sunday, June 20, at 1 p.m. at Sol Levinson’s Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville. Interment at Beth El Memorial Park, 9633 Liberty Road in Randallstown.

The family will be in mourning at 307 Chalk Hill Drive in Pikesville.
