Etty Yaniv: ‘Adrift in the Sargasso Sea’

Brooklyn, New York-based Israeli artist Etty Yaniv’s interdisciplinary installation, “Adrift in the Sargasso Sea” is inspired by nature and everyday objects that, per her artist’s statement, “create landscapes which blur the lines between the real and imagined, the organic and the artificial, the chaotic and the orderly.”

‘Engaging the Elements: Poetry in Nature’

This exhibition comprises 25 photographs, prints, drawings and textiles representing the elements of air, water, earth and fire, and explores themes such as ecological awareness and preservation. It is part of the BMA’s “Turn Again to the Earth” environmental initiative.

‘Soulful Creatures: Animal Mummies in Ancient Egypt’
