This Sunday afternoon, Apr. 7, supporters of Israel from around the country will gather in the nation’s capital to mark the six-month anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks by marching for the release of the 134 people still being held by the terrorist organization.
The “March to Free the Hostages” will begin at 2:30 at the Washington Monument and culminate in a rally at the Lincoln Memorial. The program at the rally is still being planned.
Among the groups planning to attend is the Baltimore Israel Coalition, a consortium of organizations in the greater Baltimore area working to support Israel through education, advocacy and community building.
Other participating groups and organizations include the American Jewish Committee, the National Council of Jewish Women, the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, the Embassy of Israel to the U.S., Hadassah: The Women’s Zionist Organization of America, StandWithUs, Christians United for Israel, Jewish Women International and Moishe House.
