A genuine Baltimore tradition since 1915, the family-owned, multi-generational deli business recently announced it’s hitting the road with its own food truck, serving up Attman’s classic cloak & dagger, Reuben and hot dogs.
The truck can be a great addition to parties, events or whatever celebrations you’re planning.
“The truck is ready to roll out and serve up tradition, flavor, and memories on wheels,” posts the deli.
Attman’s authentic Jewish deli has a humongous menu to choose from, including corned beef, brisket, hot dogs with bologna, pastrami and my personal favorite, knishes.

Ay Carumba!
Chihuahua Brothers recently opened at 58 West Biddle Street in downtown Baltimore. Owner Kevyn Matthews described the vegan taqueria as “one of the most technologically advanced restaurants in the city.”

Kevyn was inspired to open Chiuhuaha Brothers by his wife, Meredith Brown, who has long maintained a vegan diet. He opened the first iteration of Chihuahua Brothers as a food cart, and two years later moved into the spacious brick-and-mortar dining room.
The menu includes plant-based tacos, tamale-burrito hybrids and empanadas inspired by the annual northern Mexican celebration Feria de Santa Rita (Fair of St. Rita).
Chihuahua Brothers has a digital ordering system that makes the restaurant “waiter-less.”
By the time you read this, their liquor license should be issued with a beverage menu of Mexican beer, wines and spirits. Tequila! (chihuahuabrothers.us)
Live & Let Liv’s
Liv’s Tavern recently opened in the spot formerly occupied by Mother’s Grille in Federal Hill. Mother’s was famous for its “Purple Patio,” the perfect spot to cheer for the Baltimore Ravens.
And we’re happy to report that Liv’s has kept the Purple Patio.

Altruistic Eating
Moveable Feast, a Baltimore-based nonprofit serving medically tailored meals to those facing food insecurity while living with chronic illness, announced its 32nd annual “Dining Out for Life” fundraiser to be held on Thursday, Oct. 9.

More than 40 participating restaurants will participate, including Artifact Coffee, Clavel, Dutch Courage, Gertrude’s, The Food Market, LB Tavern, Silver Queen Cafe, The Brewer’s Art and more. These eateries will support Moveable Feast’s important mission by donating a portion of their proceeds from the event to the organization.
“Dining Out for Life Baltimore” is not at one single location; participating restaurants across the metropolitan area will offer discounts to benefit Moveable Feast.
“In today’s challenging environment, nonprofits and the vulnerable populations we serve need community support more than ever,” said Moveable Feast CEO Sue Elias. “This annual restaurant partnership, which continues to grow throughout the greater Baltimore area, directly advances our mission and provides our community with a simple way to make a meaningful difference.”
Last year, Moveable Feast served more than 420,000 meals to nearly 2,500 individuals across 15 counties in Maryland. With a waiting list of more than 200 Marylanders seeking help, community support through events like “Dining Out for Life” has never been more critical.
