Digital architect and software developer David Warren Drager passed away on Thursday, Feb. 26. The Northwest Baltimore resident was 64.
A native of Peekskill, New York, Drager received his bachelor’s degree in economics and math from the University of Albany and earned his master’s degree in computer and information science from the University of Pennsylvania.
In his spare time, Drager, who belonged to Beth Am Synagogue in Reservoir Hill, enjoyed bike rides, writing and performing poetry, and traveling.
“David was a devoted husband and father who placed his family at the center of his life. He took great pride in caring for and supporting those he loved,” his family posted on the website of Sol Levinson & Bros. “He also valued civic involvement and believed it was important to express his political views with thoughtfulness and conviction. David will be deeply missed by all who knew him.”
Drager is survived by his wife, Dr. Judy Davidoff; his daughter, Abigail Drager-Davidoff; his siblings, Paul Drager (Bertha Robbins) and Susan Drager (Pat Moyer); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and extended family.
He was predeceased by his parents, Stella and Albert Drager; and his sister, Wendy Drager.
Services will be held on Sunday, Mar. 1, at noon at Sol Levinson’s Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road in Pikesville, Maryland 21208, Interment will be at Oheb Shalom Memorial Park, 430 Berrymans Lane in Reisterstown.
