It was a night of generosity, glamour and good times.
On Saturday night, Nov. 18, more than 250 people attended The Associated: Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore’s fourth annual “Generosity Gala” at the Columbus Center in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
Presented by IMPACT, the young adult division of The Associated, the event brought together young Jewish adults between the ages of 22-45 and raised more than $12,000 for the federation’s annual campaign.
IMPACT guests who donated at least $1,000 were treated to a V.I.P. pre-reception, where they enjoyed customized cocktails from Fells Point’s Rye bar.
At the general event, guests heard from guest speaker Rachel Hirsch, whose family escaped from a dangerous situation in the Middle East with the help of The Associated and HIAS, an American nonprofit that provides humanitarian aid and assistance to refugees.
Chaired by Mindy and Jeff Rosen, the gala also featured drinks, dancing and entertainment by North Coast, a New York-based hip hop improv comedy group.
