The Baltimore Station, a nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans facing homelessness and substance use disorder, will host its first-ever “Off to the Races” fundraiser on Saturday, May 10, at the Knights of Columbus, 1338 Hull Street in Locust Point. Guests will enjoy an evening of horse racing, betting, delicious food, drinks and exciting prizes. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best Derby-inspired attire for a chance to win the “Best Dressed Award.”

For $20, guests can purchase a horse and name both the horse and its jockey — horses will be available for purchase until Friday, April 25. Throughout the evening, guests will savor hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, and signature Black Eyed Susans while placing bets on previously recorded races.

This is a cash-only event for betting, but all tickets purchases can be made with a credit card or check. All proceeds will directly support The Baltimore Station’s mission to provide life-changing services for homeless veterans.For information, visit baltimorestation.org/races
