Join Gallery 1448 for the opening reception of Lauren Case: Watercolor, featuring live music by the Cover Birds.

Case’s work with watercolor is a refreshing departure from her usual collage, assemblage and mixed media methods. Relinquishing control to the water is not unlike diving into a pool, eventually coming up for air to witness the unique ripples and waves created by the plunge. This body of work is a testament to the beauty of the unplanned and the joy of experimentation.
