Join the Baltimore Jewish Council for a presentation of the 2023 film, “The Cure for Hate.” This 55-minute documentary follows former skinhead and Holocaust denier Tony McAleer on his journey of teshuvah and atonement at Auschwitz-Birkenau. The film serves as a compelling and timely tool for educating audiences on the dangers of unchecked hate, the roots of extremist ideology, and how compassion can replace fear.

The screening — at Pikesvillle’s Chizuk Amuno Congregation, 8100 Stevenson Road — will be followed by a conversation with McAleer and the film’s director, Peter D. Hutchison.
