Matisyahu to Perform at Md. Chapter of Friends of the IDF Gala
October 20, 2025
He’s arguably best known for his hits “King Without a Crown” and “One Day,” as well as for his outspoken support for Israel. And now, Matisyahu, the Jewish-American singer, rapper, beatboxer and musician, will be the headliner on Monday night, Oct. 20, at the annual gala of the Maryland chapter of Friends of the Israel Defense Forces.

Besides a concert by the 46-year-old Matisyahu – who was born Matthew Paul Miller in the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester – the evening will feature a tribute to IDF soldiers.
Event co-chairs are Harriette and Stephen Wienner and Ruth and Jay Lenrow.
