Program Explores Baltimore’s Black and Jewish History
Join Opera Baltimore for “Voices in Solidarity: Sing, Skate, Celebration,” a free event at the Shake and Bake Family Fun Center, 1601 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The program will explore the history of Baltimore’s Black and Jewish communities through music, storytelling, skating and a special traveling artifact display from the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture examining Baltimore’s history of resilience and cultural connections.
Panelists include Em Davidson of the Reginald F. Lewis Museum; Dr. Harriette Wimms of Third Space at Shaarei Tfiloh, Ra Brave of Shake and Bake), mezzo-soprano Gayssie Lugo and soprano Faith S. Snyderman.
Moderator will be Dr. Nicole Steinberg, Opera Baltimore’s cultural programs coordinator.
