Detox & Hydrate

Night creams should be an essential part of your late winter/early spring beauty routine. Products such as Estee Lauder’s NightWear Plus Anti-Oxidant Night Detox Creme will reclaim complexions exposed to the elements, purify the skin’s surface, provide deep moisturizing and minimize pores and fine lines. Formulated with anti-oxidants such as wheat, coffee and grape seed extracts, Nightwear Plus also protects against premature aging and is ideal for mature skin.

Gentle Exfoliation

The TimeWise Microdermabrasion Refine exfoliator by Mary Kay adds oxygen and increases the skin’s circulation, thereby minimizing the look of enlarged pores and maximizing the skin’s natural radiance. Available online or through a Mary Kay consultant, the TimeWise effectively but gently removes dead skin cells but will not cause micro-tears in the surface of the skin like some other exfoliation products.

Spray & Set

Facial sprays are a great way to refresh tired winter skin. Evian’s Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray is gentle and perfect for a range of skin types. Just a few sprays will hydrate, tone and bring out the vibrancy in your complexion. Even better, this product is made without parabens, sulfates and phthalates!

Prime & Smooth

Cakey foundation due to dry, chapped skin is a definite glamour don’t! Prevent it with a reliable primer like Hourglass’ Veil Mineral Primer with SPF-15. Perfect for redness, enlarged pores and wrinkles but lightweight and appropriate for all skin types, this product also contains essential SPF to protect skin from the sunnier weather to come.

DIY Treat

Sometimes the best products are the ones you make yourself! After months of harsh winter weather, your hair deserves some TLC. Ideal for curly and/or coarse hair, this cocktail will leave your hair bouncy and soft. And it’s easy-peasy to make and apply!

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado
Two tablespoons of coconut oil
1 tablespoon of honey
Two drops of lavender oil

Instructions:

Mash up the avocado in a bowl and then stir in the remaining ingredients. Massage the mask into your hair, relax for 30 minutes, then fully rinse!
