Professional photojournalist, freelance photographer and Jmore contributor Jim Burger has been photographing Baltimore life for more than 35 years. His work is the subject of a new 134-piece retrospective at The Creative Alliance. The show runs Oct. 13-Nov. 24 with an opening reception Oct. 13, 6-8 p.m.

In the accompanying full-color catalog, Burger describes the retrospective as “a selection of photos from my life’s work. A life behind the camera. A charmed life.”
