The Food Enthusiast from Home – Ways to Support your Favorite Restaurants

On this week’s episode of “The Food Enthusiast,” Dara Bunjon checks in from home with some ways you can support your favorite restaurants and tips to prevent any extra fresh herbs from going to waste.

Local restaurants are doing curbside, carry-out, and delivery during this period of time when we are mostly homebound. Call your favorite restaurant and see what they are offering.

On Instagram @dinewellbmore has a link in her bio to Baltimore City Free Meals and @liketheteaeats has a comprehensive list of restaurant offering takeout and delivery in her bio as well.

You can also support your favorite restaurants by buying gift certificates or gift cards. Aldo’s and Sotto Sopra are both offering deals on their gift cards.

Little Italy restaurants have joined forces and created a website, Little Italy Delivers.

For crab cakes and more, Chef Nancy Longo of Pierpoint Restaurant — known for her smoked crab cake — is doing curbside pickup.
