The great Chasidic sage Reb Nachman of Breslov once said, “All melodies are derived from the source of sanctity, from the Temple of Song.”

With that in mind, the organizers of “We Sing for Israel” conceived the community unity concert to help supporters of Israel gain comfort and hope through the healing power of music, while building solidarity with the Jewish state at this critical time.

The concert will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m. at Pikesville’s Beth El Congregation, 8101 Park Heights Avenue. Cantor Benjamin Matis of Owings Mills’ Beth Israel Congregation was the organizational lead for this event.

General admission for the concert will be $25 per person, $50 per family, and $18 for livestream viewing. One-hundred percent of the funds raised for “We Sing for Israel” will go to The Associated’s Israel Emergency Fund.
