Baltimore’s Walk for the Hostages to be Resumed

Monthly community solidarity walks will be held in Northwest Baltimore demanding the release of the remains of the 11 deceased hostages in Gaza. (File photo)

The walk is back, due to Hamas’ violations in the ceasefire agreement with Israel.

This Sunday morning, local advocates for bringing home the 11 deceased hostages still remaining in Gaza will once again hit the streets of Northwest Baltimore.

On Nov. 2 from 9-10 a.m., the 1-kilometer walk for the hostages — which started in early 2024 — will be resumed, departing from the lawn of Har Sinai-Oheb Shalom Congregation, 7310 Park Heights Avenue.

The new version of the solidarity walk will take place on the first Sunday morning of every month, starting this Sunday, rain or shine, until all of the hostages’ remains are returned to Israel.

Baltimore’s walk is part of a global campaign by communities around the world to support the hostages and their families. More information is available at run4theirlives.org.
