Where’s Lucky? A Children’s Program About Pet Loss

Jewish Community Services and the Macks Center for Jewish are hosting a special program for children ages 4-8 who recently lost a pet. Although our pets are no longer with us, we learn through the book, The Invisible Leash by Patricia Karst, that our hearts can forever be connected to them.
After we read the story, children will create a memory stone to remind them of their forever connection to their beloved pet.
Program and craft supplies are free. Following the program, each family who participates will receive a copy of The Invisible Leash.
Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Parental supervision is encouraged.
Facilitated by:
Donna Kane, MA, CT, JCS Grief Clinician
Jessica Fink, Center for Jewish Education Librarian

Support for this program is provided by the Mitchell David Endowment Fund and the Zimmerman Fund for Children.
