What time of year better than the early days of spring and the season between Purim and Pesach to come together as a community and celebrate our diversity, vitality and fellowship? And a good nosh never hurts either.
Approximately 3,000 revelers turned out for last Sunday’s “Community Block Party” at the Rosenbloom Owings Mills Jewish Community Center, which included musical and dance performances, roaming bubble and balloon-twisting artists and LifeBridge Health’s “Treasure Your Health” area. There was also a gift and jewelry marketplace, kosher food offerings, and 180 booths featuring local vendors, businesses, nonprofits and community partners.
New this year at the annual, five-hour gathering were mini-golf, large inflatables, caricaturists, jumbo games and a JCC “Swag Store.”
