What has been branded as “Attmansphere” is returning to Birdland.
With Opening Day coming up this Monday afternoon, Mar. 31, Baltimore baseball fans will hopefully have plenty to celebrate this season because of the action on the field.
But one non-baseball-related reason for local deli lovers and noshers to rejoice is that Attman’s Delicatessen announced it is making its much-anticipated return to Oriole Park at Camden Yards this season. The Attman’s stand will be located near Section 53.
A Baltimore culinary staple since 1915, Attman’s is known for its hearty sandwiches and mouth-watering corned beef.
The multi-generational, family-owned deli has locations at 1019 E. Lombard Street (aka, in historic “Corned Beef Row,” near the Jewish Museum of Maryland), 1040 Point Street in Baltimore’s Harbor Point waterfront community, and at 12505 Park Potomac Avenue in Potomac.
For a decade, Attman’s operated a stand behind home plate at Camden Yards. But in July of 2024, it was announced that the deli’s contract was not renewed at the ballpark, leaving many to wonder if Attman’s might ever return.
Now, Attman’s is officially back and will once again have a special spot at Camden Yards, bringing its iconic hometown flavor back to Orioles games.
The return of Attman’s reflects a broader effort by the Orioles to enhance the fan experience. This season, families with kids 12 and under that have tickets to Sections 78, 80 and 82 will be able to get right up close to the outfield action and are invited to stand on the new “Home Run Porch.”
Besides Attman’s, Baltimore’s popular Ekiben restaurant will have a stand at Camden Yards.
